While working on a series of images of toys, I noticed something peculiar. The representations of female forms in the figures changed in a surprising way. Wonder woman is among the most common female figures and a perfect character to examine the changing representation of the female form in toys marketed to little boys.

A series of photos examining my connection to the woods and the region I grew up in. This work has had multiple modes of expression. This gallery focuses on the photographic images. These images have been captured on film but use a variety of cameras. Like many of my photos individual composition and processing is done not with cohesion in mind but rather to allow each image to capture the mood and feeling of the space it captures.

Nothing/Nearly

Nearly nothing, is not the same as nothing.

My inspiration stems from the bright, colorful objects placed on vibrant backdrops that I remember from childhood math workbooks. While nostalgia is undeniably present, my focus is on presence and placement.

Toilet (gallery coming soon)

An ongoing series currently spanning over 16 years. This work explores the public and personal nature of the bathroom. This space is seens as both a space of comfort and discomfort, internal and external. Overtly biologically driven yet often neglected, it is a stand in for what it means to have a body, what it means to share that body and how we occupy the public sphere. Originally intended to last 10 years, the work will continue for now.

Lonely Roller

I like many spend a lot of time in the car, alone. This series is about that experience.
